  1. 4 out of 5

Heard in our household a few weeks ago:
Mom: “If you don’t hurry up and eat your supper you won’t be able to play Outfoxed and watch your episode.
TV-loving daughter: “I would rather play Outfoxed than watch TV”.
Kids love it, and the teamwork is great. Just wish the game would last a tiny bit longer.

  2. 4 out of 5

Playing on the same team versus the naughty fox has helped my oldest kid realise it isn’t always about beating her younger sibling. Sure, they still argue about what they should do when it’s their turn, but at the end of the game, they both end up happy that they’ve won… which means everyone’s a winner! Well, except the fox, that is. He hasn’t beaten us yet… although he has come PRETTY close on a few occasions.

This bloody game! You would think that an adult would be able to outsmart a kid SOME TIME. But for some flipping reason, my four-year-old seems to have the beating of me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME with Rat-a-tat-cat. Normally, with other games, I have to let her beat me about half the time to keep her happy and interested. Not with this game. She either has the luck of the devil or has some insight into probability that I just don’t have. But I love it, and the squeal of joy she gives when we flip over the cards to reveal that she has beaten me AGAIN is heavenly.
This is a simple, yet great game.
